Our Principles
The socially disadvantaged children pay a symbolic contribution of 12 CHF per year and child
A moderate contribution of 135 CHF per year and child is demanded from the families of paying students, which is slightly less than the amount asked for by state run schools
Predominantly disadvantaged children are assisted
These are mostly girls
We pay the same teacher-salaries as state-run schools
Our partners in Cameroon are involved in the financial responsibility in regard to self-financing as well as the raising of funds
The "Searchlight School" is a Cameroonian school, that tries to set itself apart from the state schools in regard to the teaching quality and the individual advancement of the students
The class size may not exceed 50 students
